Daily Devotional Rev. Johnnie Flakes,III - September 01, 2007

Good morning,

Our devotion for today will be coming from James 1:4 "Let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect (mature) and complete, lacking nothing."

Remember this morning and throughout your day as well as throughout your christian walk to be "complete" means that you are not moved by anything, that you are living only in the divine position of God through Jesus the Christ empowered by the Holy Spirit.

It means that you are not moved, that you are not changed by what people say.  Accepting Christ as Savior and Lord builds the character of a person in purity until his or her inward heart, and thoughts are filled with divine love and has nothing but thoughts of how to please God alone. "That you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."

Have a patient and blessed day!

Your brother in Christ,

J. H. Flakes III
