Good Morning,

Our devotion for today comes from 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." 

As you go throughout your day, meditate on this thought; as a believer in Christ, once we have professed Christ as our Lord and Saviour, then we are new spiritual creatures.  Our disposition, attitude and behaviors should be reflective of our encounter with Christ. 

After our encounter with Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we then posess the ability to love our enemies, to do good to those who mistreat us, and to pray for those who misuse us.  None of this is possible without having first become a new creation by accepting God the Father through Jesus Christ His son and the Holy Spirit as our guide! 

Who on your job, in your school, in your community, or in your family can tell that you are a new creation and have had an encounter with Christ?
